Ken Duncan
It is with much sadness that we have heard that Ken Duncan has passed away. Ken was the current President of Met Police Bowls Club.
He was admitted to Watford General about 10 days ago with a recurrence of the brain virus he suffered whilst on a cruise to the West Indies last year. Unfortunately whilst in hospital he contracted Coronavirus from which he died.
Peter McNulty has provided this message,
"At almost exactly 3.50pm on Friday 17th April 2020 I will be closing the curtain at West Herts Crematorium in a final farewell to a good friend, colleague and fellow bowler, known and loved by so many of us, Ken Duncan. In these times of severe restrictions on numbers attending services, it occurs to me that it would be a gesture if at 3.50pm those who wish to do so could stop what they are doing and just spend a minute or two thinking about Ken. I will let the family know during the service that this is happening"
Following Felicity Duncan's wishes I have set up a Just Giving page in memory of Ken,
for the National Emergency Trust Coronavirus Appeal.
