Obituary Janet Sellek Bushey BC | Hertfordshire Bowls

We regret to inform you of the passing of Janet Sellek Bushey BC. She will be known to many of you in the County and the bowls fraternity far and wide.

Alan and I can confirm that Mum’s funeral, Janet Sellek, will take place at West Herts Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Garston, WD25OJS, 4th June 2026 at 1.30pm.

Afterwards our family would like to invite you to The Glindon Room, The Met Club, Aldenham Road, Bushey, WD23 2TR. **Please record your car registration number when you get into the club and not in the carpark – and your parking charge will be covered by us.

There is no dress code for the funeral but Mum was a devotee of pink – so if you feel the urge – please bring a splash of pink to the celebration of Mum’s life.

Please help by passing the details of Mum’s funeral to those who knew and loved her.

I have the happiest memories of the many hours spent with Janet as a Hertfordshire Bowls selector.
It was a job that we took seriously but had so many laughs along the way. xx
